CleanLab-tested fish oil in the UK and EU (IFOS, 2026)
Short answer: Two fish oils in our directory publish lot-specific IFOS™ reports (the IFOS programme is run by SGS Nutrasource): Bare Biology Life & Soul capsules (UK seller, lot LSC6066107) and HSN Ultra Omega-3 TG IFOS (EU seller, lot 260202E3). In both reports, mercury, lead, cadmium and arsenic were below the reporting limit, and measured EPA and DHA met the label claim. IFOS reports cover one lot, so check that the lot on your pack is listed. HSN Omega-3 1000mg (18/12) has no published tests.

Which of the two is fresher?
On these lots, Bare Biology: TOTOX 5.91 and peroxide 1.12 meq/kg, against HSN at TOTOX 14.47 and peroxide 2.42 meq/kg. Both are within the IFOS limits (TOTOX ≤ 19.5, peroxide ≤ 5).
